For certain people, they can never find the right length pants. This is especially true for people who are shorter, so all pants automatically become more expensive. Solution? Do it yourself. Here is the tutorial on how to do that.
What you'll need:
- pin
- sewing machine
- scissors
Instructions:
- Roll up your jeans where you want them to be then mark it by pinning on the fold.
- Take off your jeans and note where the original mark is. Roll it back up but have the original hem just above the mark. Pin it into place.
- Pin it all the way around now while ensuring the side seams line up perfectly. Hold this in place with a pin, too.
- Using your sewing machine, straight stitch then back stitch right underneath the original hem using thread that is similar to the color of your jeans.
- Once complete, cutoff the extra material you just sewed.
- You're done. Apply fray check OR apply a zig-zag stitch by following the instructions here.
